WHAT I THINK: I really can’t get enough of this absolutely beautiful place! It is a nice alternative to going to the beach, and the hiking trails provide a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of this busy city. It features an amphitheater, paved running paths, biking paths, hiking trails, playgrounds for kids and adults, basketball court, volleyball area, and soccer area. It also has several feral cat colonies that are taken care of by local individuals and groundskeepers. It’s also great because it is wheelchair accessible, has bathrooms, and has rentable city bikes. I’ve also included info on the Boat Tours below!
IS IT WORTH IT? YES! YES! AND YES!
HOW TO GET THERE: Taxi or Uber. Taxis tend to be available in the area, but download the SINDITAXI PASSAGEIROS APP, just in case you don’t see any on the streets.
ADDRESS: Parque do Coco
